I think we all secretly knew that Nintendo Switch Online wasn't going to launch without a little bit of ridicule, but in its current state it does seem a bit flawed.

To catch you up quickly, Nintendo Switch Online is a companion app to help enhance your Switch experience. With the launch of Splatoon 2 happening tomorrow, SplatNet 2 is a very welcome sight. The rest of the app, however, is looking a little sparse in comparison.

One of the main issues raised by Kotaku is that the process of using the voice chat seems like more of a faff than it's worth. You can only take part in private battles and private conversations that someone's got to host, but if you switch to another app (if you quickly check Twitter or pick up a call, for example), you'll be kicked from the room until you rejoin.

According to Eurogamer you'll also have to keep your phone screen on in order to stay connected to the room, meaning that your battery'll probably drain faster than a bottle of prosecco on a British summer evening. Oh, and you'll also need a splitter, or the official S2 headset, if you want to hear the game in handheld mode and your friends at the same time.

What do you guys think? Does Nintendo Switch Online have the right idea, or would you rather just stick to Skype/Discord?
THE MEMBERS of the Body rebelled against the Belly, and said, "Why should we be perpetually engaged in administering to your wants, while you do nothing but take your rest, and enjoy yourself in luxury and self-indulgence?' The Members carried out their resolve and refused their assistance to the Belly. The whole Body quickly became debilitated, and the hands, feet, mouth, and eyes, when too late, repented of their folly.
"Well, you certainly have a lovely day for your wedding, Anne," said Diana, as she slipped a voluminous apron over her silken array. "You couldn't have had a finer one if you'd ordered it from Eaton's."In either's aptness, as it best deceives,
Yoozoo Games’ Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac has had a new update to celebrate the Halloween festivities.

As the haunted night of 31st October approaches, you can get into the mood of Halloween by logging in to Saint Seiya Awakening and receiving a special Halloween avatar frame to use in-game.

You’ll also be able to enjoy ‘Feast of the Undead’, a special Halloween themed Summon. During the event, Yoozoo is also allowing the chance to summon Hades, Underworld Shun, Evil Saga, Papillon Myu, and Cancer Deathmask to be increased for a limited time, so now is your opportunity to summon five of the evilest characters to fit in perfectly with the Halloween theme.

If you’re looking for something a bit more elegant, the Masquerade in the Town of Sanctuary is also live in Saint Seiya Awakening, a place you can go to exchange costumes in return for gifts. There will also be a limited time sale on skins in the shop between Saturday, 31st October, and Monday, 2nd November, so be sure to swing by for a new skin if you’re in need of one.

It's good news today as the game'll be arriving on 3DS and mobile this July.

Now launching as Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaire's Conspiracy as opposed to its previous 'Lady Layton-esque' title, the launch date was revealed during the Japanese Nintendo Direct yesterday, which I'll link below.

The 3DS version will cost 4,800 yen (about £35) while the iOS and Android versions will cost about 1,900 yen (about £14) with item-based IAPs, but those are totally optional.

The mobile version will be releasing worldwide on July 20th and the languages supported are: Japanese, Italian, English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Korean.
Slitherine and Polar Motion has pulled Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager out of the Early Access testing phase now. If you missed it, sorry, you were too slow.

But don't worry, the game will be coming to iPad and Android tablets on October 31st.

We haven't mentioned Space Program Manager for a while. There's a good reason: the game was due to release in June 2013, but was pulled after testers weren't enjoying it.

Since then, Space Program Manager has been expanded upon greatly. It was clear that the game needed more than just space exploration; it needed competition.

As such, Polar Motion decided to add a Space Race plot to the game. In fact, it's set during the Cold War of the 1950s and you can belong to either the US or Soviet space stations.

Just like the historical event, then, your mission in the Campaign mode is to direct your space station so your nation is the first to the moon.

Slitherine and Polar Motion were also able to announce that a multiplayer mode would be available in the release version of Space Program Manager today.

Not only will you be able to race to the moon against another player, there will be a Free Mode so you can make your own space adventures.

This comes on top of the solo Sandbox mode, which allows you to experiment with rockets without the political pressure.

Likewise goes for the game's third mode, which focuses on exploration and is set in the future with you as the head of the Global Space Agency. You'll still need to address short-term requests from governments, but you can at least fly beyond the moon in this mode.

Oh, and if you're wondering, yes, Buzz Aldrin has been on board as a consultant for Space Program Manager. Rather convenient considering he's the second man to have walked on the moon, eh?

That's all you should need to know about the game for now. I'm sure we'll have more to tell you about it nearer its October 31st release date.

If you do want more information do check out the official website.

Atari is, well, switching things up as it works to bring RollerCoaster Tycoon to the Nintendo Switch via investor crowdfunding platform StartEngine. The campaign’s set a goal of $10,000 to $1.07 million, and, if successful, the Switch will get its own original RollerCoaster Tycoon game, built from the ground up especially for the console.Atari Game Partners is teaming up with Nvizzio Creations, the folks who brought you RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch, the free-to-play version of everyone’s favorite theme park building sim. This all new RollerCoaster Tycoon title for the Switch features a classic career mode and sandbox options, as well a few challenge scenarios that will task players with completing tasks with time limits or other restrictions.

The campaign is offering investors the chance to invest in both the highly successful Switch and a well known video game franchise that’s endured for years. Investors will earn dividends on the game’s profits and get a few other perks, including a discount on the full game at launch. You can find more details over at the campaign's official site.

The campaign will run for 90 days, and so far as earned just over $7,000. RollerCoaster Tycoon has become a household name, making it a good crowdfunding bet, especially when targeting investors who might not be super involved in video games.

Than the true gouty landlord which doth owe them. Thanks to the integration of old Hollywood-style sceneries, you will really feel like you’re on an actual crime scene. All you have to do is pick a target (there are so many!), and begin chasing him down until you catch him. The adrenaline boost granted by the fan-favorite game is so big that you will see the hours on the clock drifting by as you have your hands complete with crime-doing bastards. You will always win, of course, but the question is, how will you go about it?
