1、<p>Playdigious is releasing a new DLC for Dead Cells later this month on 26th January for PC and consoles, but it&rsquo;ll be a little while before the update appears on mobile.</p><p>The DLC is called Fatal Falls and it&rsquo;s the 22nd major update to the award-winning roguelike platformer, bringing new areas, weapons and enemies to the game.</p><p>The two new biomes are called The Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores, which are located mid-game and intended as alternate paths parallel to the Stilt Village, Clock Tower and Time Keeper areas. Besides new paths, they also house enemies such as the Myopic Crow, the Clumsy Swordsman, the Compulsive Gravedigger, culminating with the final boss, The Scarecrow.</p><p>Lazara Battle Heroes is an idle RPG that's been available for a little while now for Android users and will be heading for iOS later this year, with an expected release date of late August. But that's not all the Lazara Battle Heroes news, there are also a host of new features and content arriving in the idle RPG for fans to tuck into.</p><p>First up, players will now find an Ascend Hero System that will allow them to make their favourite characters even more powerful than ever before. It's a fairly straightforward process, you simply select the hero you wish to improve and tap the ascend button in the top left-hand corner of their portrait. So long as you have the required amount of gold and materials you'll be able to complete their upgrade and see their new stats.</p>

2、<p>An overhauled version of the brilliant strategy game Battle of the Bulge is coming to iOS on September 17th.</p><p>This involves porting the game to a new engine to support more platforms (the game's also coming to PC), improved AI opponents, cross-platform multiplayer matches, and official tournaments.</p><p>It's all because Shenadoah was purchased by strategy giant Slitherine in September last year.</p><p>Battle of the Bulge's sequels, Drive on Moscow and Desert Fox, will get the same treatment later. And then other, unannounced games in the Crisis in Command series will follow after that.</p><p>"We have plans to expand this franchise to other theatres", said Marius Badita of Shenandoah Studio. • <p>The Secret Cove is an upcoming game inspired (and what adventure game isn't?) by the majestic pointing and clicking of Myst, and other classics.</p><p>It is currently on Kickstarter for the next 23 days, looking to raise £50,000 to bring the game to Windows 8 tablets, iOS, and Android.</p><p>Based on the Kickstarter video above, The Secret Cove seems like a hardy mix of old adventure game tropes, with plenty of minor, yet impactful technological improvements to bring it into the modern day.</p><p>Wildlife, ambient weather effects, and other things help bring each scene to life, while the Cornwall, UK setting - depicted in around 100 separate 3D rendered 2D scenes - looks beautiful on its own.</p><p>The game itself sends you on a puzzle-heavy hunt for a lost treasure, with the developers promising "real world" puzzles that remain relevant to the task at hand.</p><p>Read more about what The Secret Cove will have to offer on Kickstarter.</p>

<p>Genshin Impact is the controversial open-world RPG that drew the ire of some gamers last year for its abundant similarities to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Earlier this week, the announcement came that a Switch version is on the way, but I'm primarily interested in how this ambitious title works on iOS and Android.</p><p>Thankfully, a select few will now be able to get some hands-on time with it by signing up for the game's latest closed beta. It's set to showcase the Liyue Harbor area and will "allow players an opportunity to understand the legend of the Geo Archon and unveil the secrets of this gorgeous city".
